Meet Leyla Lacey...The Power Lunch Bunch Spotlight Member of the Month

Remember the joy, stress and incredible excitement of buying your first home? Leyla Lacey does, and she loves experiencing this landmark event with her clients.

Leyla, a realtor with Illustrated Properties Real Estate, Inc. in Sewalls Point, is relatively new to real estate and finds it to be an exciting and rewarding career. She particularly enjoys working with first-time home buyers. Leyla works throughout Martin County and the Treasure Coast, and can help clients with existing residences, commercial properties and land sales.

Leyla can also link you up with an appropriate agent for any real estate needs you have beyond the Treasure Coast. "With Illustrated Properties' vast network of agents, if I can't help you directly I can refer you to someone who can," says Leyla. Leyla is a 20-year Florida resident who moved from Palm Beach County to Hobe Sound two years ago to take advantage of Martin County's acclaimed school system. She and her husband Craig are the parents of two boys: Curtis, who is nearly 6, and Alex, 3. "They're handsome heartbreakers," says the proud mom.

Leyla is also active as fundraising chair for SeaWind Elementary's Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA). Their first annual golf tournament (a four-person scramble) will be held Saturday, September 17 at Lost Lake Golf Club. Just $99/person includes lunch and golf. Gifts will also be raffled. Funds raised will be used to assist underprivileged children so that they can afford school supplies and are able to participate in field trips.
